Who is responsible

improvepublicspeaking.com is an informational site about public speaking. Write to hello@improvepublicspeaking.com with any question about your data.

What we record

The site never asks for your name, email or any contact detail. To learn how many people visit and which parts they read, it records anonymously: the page you opened, the site you came from, how far down the page you scrolled, whether you tapped a button to the Confidently app, your device's language and operating system, and a random identifier stored in your browser so you are not counted twice. Your IP address is used only to estimate country and city and is not stored in full.

What it is used for

Only to measure how the site is used and to improve its content. The data is relayed by this site's server to an analytics service hosted in the European Union. We do not sell or share data with advertisers.

Cookies and local storage

The site stores two values in your browser: the anonymous visitor identifier and a session identifier that expires after 30 minutes without activity. You can delete both from your browser settings. Ad blockers also stop the recording, and the site works exactly the same without it.

Links to the app stores

The test buttons send you to Confidently in the App Store or on Google Play. A short redirect on this site picks the store from your device type and passes no personal data. From that point on, the store's and Confidently's privacy notices apply, not this one.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete any data tied to your visitor identifier by writing to the address above. Because we store nothing that identifies you personally, the surest way to unlink yourself is to clear your browser's local storage for this site.
